# Do I need health insurance?
## Health insurance is compulsory for all boarding students while living and travelling in Germany and Europe.
BBIS can provide health insurance (incl. liability) and this can be discussed with the boarding administration, but proof of health insurance coverage must be provided upon arrival of the student at BBIS Boarding.
